Inspiration is

BULLSHIT

Why?

Because it's great at the time, but it doesn't last.

It's perspiration that gets things done and pays the rent.

That's what life is for most of us, scraping enough together every month, to pay the rent.

It's hard to stay inspired when you're in the daily grind.

Inspiration works for new ideas. It works when someone shows you a new way of doing things, but it doesn't pay the bills. Work does that.

No one stays inspired for very

Of course, it is a heck of a lot of money, put in ahead of the actual launch and early user reception of the product to top things off, so evidently most people will deem it a frivolous investment.

Only time will tell if it is, or if it’s instead a genius move.

Google guru Matt Cutts has indicated that the value placed on keywords contained in domain names is set to diminish.

So far, the domain name of a website was very important to its ranking in search engines, with the emphasis being placed on any keywords it contained.

Flippa Interview with Andrew Knibbe

Did you hear the one about the two drummers talking about buying and selling websites on flippa?

No? Well here's your chance.

I recently had a chat with flippa marketing manager, Andrew Knibbe about all things flippa.

There's been a bit of talk of late about Flippa's just sold results defaulting to showing only sales over $2,000 and ignoring what I call the "shallow" end of the flippa sales pool. Andrew explains that and a host of other questions I threw at him.

Andrew shared some

Selling new sites on flippa

I've noticed that new template sites are back and a number of sellers of these sites are killing it again on flippa.

These guys regularly sell brand new, zero traffic, zero ranking sites, yet they are getting $247-$297 for these sites, sale after sale.

I'm not going to enter the debate here as to the worth of such sites, that’s for another day, but obviously there is a market for start up sites.
What I want to talk about is why these guys are selling so many sites at the

30 steps to building a website from scratch

When I started selling websites on flippa, I just couldn't get my hands on enough stock, so I put together a system for researching, building and then testing new markets.

The key to all of this is to use the minimum amount of time and resources possible and start to test the mareket as soon as I can. Even with the most diligetn research, there's just no way to know if the website will "stick" and be a success without testing.

Selling Websites not Reinventing the Wheel

Buying and selling websites isn't complicated. Rather than trying to reinvent the wheel, just push it to where you want it to go.

The key is to understand both the process and your market and then tell an authentic story.
Buyers want to feel that they are not going to be ripped off, embarrassed , or made a fool of.

No one wants to be scammed.

Understand that your story needs to be authentic, credible and real. Don't embellish just to make thinks look bettter, or to cover up
